The RB Community

The Rescue BankSM community includes more than 70 non-profit, independent animal rescue, rehabilitation, foster, and adoption groups located throughout the Gulf Coast and East Texas. These smaller groups are run by volunteers providing extensive hands-on help for abandoned, abused, or injured animals. They include

  • Neighborhood and community groups that rescue loose pets or pull animals from kill shelters,
  • Breed rescues working with owner turn-ins and puppy mill rescues, and
  • Feral animal groups that humanely manage feral colonies and limit their growth with trap-neuter-release programs.

Rescue BankSM's mission is to help them source much-needed supplies, grants, and services so that they can improve their standard of care. Our member groups are typically below "critical mass" for self-sustained donation management and fundraising. By aggregating their needs, and creating more visibility for the whole "small rescue" community, we provide them more reliable access to donors and sources of supplies.

Please visit our Registered Groups page, which lists our member groups and provides links to their websites.
